The Mission Igniter Process

Planting a new church doesn’t need to be lonely! We’re here to provide the resourcing and partnership you need to succeed. We want to be a church planting movement, not simply a group that occasionally starts a new church. To that end, we have developed some basic stepping stones to help us walk with planters from dream to reality.

Multiplier Assessments

We’re here to help you discern what to do with the vision God has given you for a new ministry reaching new people. A proven series of assessments helps leaders and their co-laborers better understand how God has formed and prepared them and can help leaders understand the model best suited for them and the team they need to build. Our multi-phase process allows you to start the discernment process with minimal expense.

Multiplication Training

Through Multiplication Training Intensives and Residency Cohorts, multipliers can receive the needed tools and training to ensure an effective launch. Our Church Multiplication Residency Cohort will walk with leaders through the process of starting a new church, providing the necessary training and coaching as they progress.

Coaching

Mission Igniter has three coaching deliverables designed to resource
the multiplication of Churches.

Plan Development Coaching

A strong and vetted start-up plan is vital for the success of sustainable and thriving churches. Mission Igniter coaches walk planters through an extensive planning process to move their “God idea” to a “God-inspired plan.”  At the end of Plan Development Coaching, each planter will have a comprehensive plan that covers these six areas:

Plan Implementation Coaching

Upon the approval of a multiplication plan a church planter will meet with a coach over the course of the next 24-36 months for the purpose of encouragement, prayer, goal-setting and accountability. The coach will work with the planter to accomplish the quarterly goals and tasks developed in the church formation section of the multiplication plan. Coaches will meet for an hour twice a month with planters for the first twelve months and at least monthly over the subsequent months.

Administrative Support

Our administrative support team lifts the burden off of Apostolic leaders, allowing them to concentrate on their gifted areas and on people. We provide the support for Image work, marketing, bookkeeping, planning, By-laws creation, 501(c)3 formation and more.

Ongoing coaching

Throughout the process, experienced leaders will journey with church multipliers in a coaching relationship. A supportive coach brings increased accountability and provides a dynamic relationship for strategizing and problem solving.
