Coaching

Research shows a direct correlation between successful church multiplication and regular coaching. In recognizing this, Mission Igniter offers customized and action-oriented coaching for church multipliers.

Mission Igniter has a team of trained and certified coaches who walk with planters to develop and implement a strong comprehensive plan for launching a new church. Coaches meet with church planters twice a month for the purpose of encouragement, prayer, goal-setting and accountability. We offer two phases of coaching: plan development (3-6 months) and plan implementation (12-24 months).

Plan Development

A coach will work through a coaching guide with a church planter over the course of twelve sessions to develop a comprehensive multiplication plan that will be ready for submission and presentation to a grant committee. Each session will lead to the planter developing a different section of his/her multiplication plan.

Implementation Coaching

Upon the approval of a multiplication plan a church planter will meet with a coach over the course of the next 24-36 months for the purpose of encouragement, prayer, goal- setting and accountability. The coach will work with the planter to accomplish the quarterly goals and tasks developed in the church formation section of the multiplication plan. Coaches will meet for an hour twice a month with planters for the first twelve months and at least monthly over the subsequent months.

Coach and Trainer Certification

In addition to providing coaching and training Mission Igniter also trains and certifies coaches and trainers. This enables each individual network and conference to deploy their own proven missional leaders to coach and train their own emerging multipliers.
