FRED & ARETHA TENEYCK
Building a healthy community that experiences and shares God’s love.
Fred and Aretha TenEyck are building a healthy community of believers who experience and share the love of God together. The Bridge gathers in Kent, WA at Mill Creek Middle School every Sunday morning and small groups during the week. The Bridge is dedicated to reaching the "nones" and "dones" and helping them to experience a loving relationship with Jesus Christ.
Fred is from the Maryland/DC area. He wasn't raised in the church and actually spent most of his teenagers being very critical of Christianity. After having accepted Jesus at the age of 18, he remained critical of the ways that churches represented Christ. There didn't seem to be an authentic love for God and the spreading of Jesus' message of love to the world. Many years later he still sees a need for the church to do the basic tenants of loving God and loving neighbors.
Aretha is from Southern California and is a gifted worshipper. Through the years she's dedicated herself to God through music ministry and serving the needs the unhoused community in and around Los Angeles. Professionally she works those with special needs through training teams of autism service providers all over the U.S. She is committed to helping people know God and grow in their journey to maturity in their relationships with God.
Together, Fred and Aretha are bringing their passion for God and community to Kent, Washington.
