Collaborating with Latinos in ministry Webinar with david roller
The key to reaching Latinos in our community starts with us knowing more about each other's culture. In this webinar Bishop Emeritus David Roller will help those in local church leadership gain a greater understanding of the cultural differences that can keep us from being effective in collaboration in ministry. After 40+ years of working in Latin America, Bishop Emeritus Roller brings a unique ability to speak in both cultural languages. This three-hour workshop will prepare non-Latino and Latino leaders to better understand each other. Using creativity and humor, two of his signature teaching tools, Bishop Roller will assist us in expanding our understanding of different people groups. The workshop will be a Zoom event that will enable large group teaching as well as interactions in smaller groups, and Q&A. Thursday, May 28, from 11:00 -3:00 EST with a one-hour break for lunch. This Seminar is being offered by Mission Igniter and Bishop Roller at no cost. You can register for this FREE webinar here: https://smc.churchcenter.com/registrations/events/421278

The Covid-19 crisis has forced churches to make rapid shifts in a short amount of time. One of the primary shifts has been establishing an online ministry presence to continue to serve and disciple our church members as well as effectively reaching the unchurched. This is an important shift but it is not the only one or even the most important. How do we move beyond being the church online to multiplying disciples, leaders and churches? In this webinar Pastor, Church Planter and Entrepreneur, Myron Pierce will share with you how to:
• clarify your ecclesiology
• leverage online resources to create authentic digital disciples
• develop a multiplication framework in our respective contexts, whether digitally or physically.
This 90 minute webinar will involve training as well as Q and A and is being offered for FREE by Mission Igniter and Forge Motown. You register for this webinar here: https://smc.churchcenter.com/registrations/events/421294
